Aleia Flores
Serving children through adults for individual, couples & family therapy

MS., Registered Marriage and Family Therapists Intern
Aleia works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, overthinking and rumination, stress, intrusive thoughts, self-esteem concerns, people-pleasing, perfectionism, relationship and family challenges, parenting concerns, and life transitions. She also works with OCD-related concerns including relationship OCD (ROCD), harm OCD, contamination OCD, and family accommodation.
Aleia earned her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with distinction and completed her clinical training in Reno, Nevada. Before becoming a therapist, she worked as an EMT, medical assistant, and phlebotomist, shaping her whole-person view of mental and physical health. Her approach incorporates relational and systemic therapy, trauma-informed care, Gottman Method principles, and SPACE-informed strategies. She also brings a background in
Christian counseling through Liberty University.
My Style
My style is warm, curious, collaborative, and down-to-earth. You don’t need to arrive at therapy knowing exactly what you want to say or where to begin.
Some sessions may focus on something you’ve carried for years, while others may center on what happened earlier that week. Both matter. I want to understand your experiences, relationships, culture, family, and environment so we can find an approach that fits you.
I value connection, consistency, compassion, and humor when appropriate. My goal is to create a space where you can feel understood while developing practical tools for meaningful change.

My Why
Before becoming a therapist, I worked as an EMT, medical assistant, and phlebotomist. Being alongside people during many different seasons of life shaped something I still strongly believe: taking care of our mental health is just as normal and necessary as taking care of our physical health.
Those experiences also taught me that people are more than the problem that brought them through the door. Our relationships, families, histories, cultures, environments, and everyday experiences all influence how we feel and how we respond to the world around us.
That whole-person perspective is what I bring into therapy today. Wherever you’re starting from, we can start there together.
