M.A., Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Beth works with teens and adults experiencing OCD and intrusive thoughts, anxiety, rumination, panic, phobias, agoraphobia, social anxiety, trauma, PTSD, depression, ADHD and neurodivergence, chronic illness, perfectionism, relationship concerns, anxious attachment, rejection sensitivity, shame, and major life transitions. She also supports clients navigating school-related anxiety, childhood trauma, identity development, self-harm or suicidal thoughts, and the emotional impact of feeling as though their mind is constantly “on.”

Beth earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Nichols College and her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lynn University, with additional experience as a Research Associate Intern. She is EMDR trained and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and has training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (iCBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Her continuing education also includes specialized training in LGBTQIA+ clients with OCD, trauma and PTSD within the context of OCD, and the intersection of OCD and neurodivergence.

My Style

My style is compassionate, conversational, intentional, and direct when it needs to be. Many of the people I work with appear capable and put together on the outside while internally carrying anxiety, overthinking, expectations, past experiences, and responsibilities that others may never see.

I want therapy to be a space where you can understand what is happening beneath the surface rather than simply trying harder to push through it. I’ll explain the reasoning behind the approaches we use, help you develop practical tools, and work alongside you to identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

I bring empathy, curiosity, professionalism, and humor when appropriate into the room. My goal is to build a relationship where you feel heard and supported while also feeling comfortable enough to challenge old patterns and practice something different.

My Why

I know that reaching out for therapy is not a small decision, especially when you have learned to depend on yourself or appear completely functional to everyone around you. You may be used to carrying responsibilities quietly, replaying conversations in your head, preparing for what might go wrong, or convincing yourself that you should be able to handle everything on your own.

I’m drawn to this work because I want therapy to offer something different. Instead of judging the ways your mind and body learned to cope, we can become curious about them. Often, those patterns developed for a reason—even when they are no longer helping you live the way you want to.

My goal is to help you create enough safety and regulation that there is more room for joy, connection, confidence, and the things that matter to you. We can work toward meaningful change without losing compassion for the parts of you that learned how to survive.
