My Style

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, practical, and grounded in evidence-based care. Therapy can feel intimidating, so I work to create a space where you can feel validated and supported while also being gently challenged to move toward the things that matter to you.

Together, we’ll identify your goals, understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop tools you can use outside of the therapy room. I believe in explaining the reasoning behind the approaches we use so that therapy doesn’t feel like something being done to you. Expect empathy, accountability, practical strategies, and a healthy dose of humor when appropriate.

My Why

I believe everyone deserves access to a space where they can feel validated, supported, and understood. When anxiety, intrusive thoughts, trauma, or neurodivergence make it difficult to stay present in your life, it can feel like much of your energy is spent arguing with your own mind or trying to avoid what feels overwhelming.

What matters to me is helping clients reconnect with the parts of life that are important to them. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I want you to understand not only what we are doing, but why we are doing it. My role is to support you, challenge you when needed, and help you build the skills and confidence to move toward the life you want to be living.

You don’t have to arrive at therapy with everything figured out. Showing up and being willing to begin is already an important first step.
